The three hundredth anniversary of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 1712-2012. Jean-Jacques Rousseau was born on the 28 June 1712, in Geneva where he would pass the first sixteen years of his life.  The Cultural office of the Geneva Town hall proposes 2012 Rousseau Pour Tous with the aim of celebrating the three hundredth anniversary of the birth of the philosopher and writer, and to underline the importance of Geneva's influence on Rousseau's life and work.
